Interview with BBC Hereford & Worcester

Earlier this week Visualising The Beatles authors John Pring and Rob Thomas sat down with the presenters of BBC Hereford & Worcester's Breakfast Show to discuss the UK edition of the book. Speaking with Toni and Elliot, the authors discuss the book and how the idea came about, as well as why they chose to work with the music of The Beatles. 

The show also features an unexpected phone interview with Bev Bevan of ELO and Black Sabbath, who was kind enough to speak very positively about the book. You can see a short video of the interview below: 

Book Signing at The Beatles Story, Liverpool

We're pleased to announce that The Beatles Story in Liverpool will be stocking the UK edition of Visualising The Beatles, and to celebrate the authors will be there on Wednesday 14th December to sign copies of the book.

If you'd like to come along and get your copy signed, the authors will be at the Fab4 Cafe between 11.00am and 3.00pm, and the book will be available to buy from the Beatles Story shop if you don't have your copy yet. 

The authors will also be making a short stop in Waterstones, Liverpool to sign a few copies while they're there, and you can grab them from 3.00pm onwards on Wednesday afternoon. 

Visualising The Beatles (UK) Launches At Waterstones, Tottenham Court Road

The UK edition of Visualising The Beatles will be launched next month, and to celebrate we'll be hosting an official launch event at Waterstones on Tottenham Court Road, London. An evening of data visualisation and drinks (yes, this Waterstones has a bar), it will also feature a talk from the authors as well as live music from the amazing Danny McGurn. If you'd like to come along, the event starts at 6.00pm on Tuesday 15th November.

If you purchase a copy of the book on the night, the authors will be on-hand to sign your copy. You can purchase the book directly at Waterstones, or order it via their website and bring it along to be signed on the night. 

If you can't make the London launch, there will be another event in Hereford on November 22nd, as well as upcoming signings in Liverpool and Brighton. As well as Waterstones, the book is also available from Amazon, Foyles, Daunts and all good independent retailers. 

Visualising The Beatles (UK) Set for December 2016 Release

After the successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2014, the full UK version of Visualising The Beatles has been confirmed for a Christmas 2016 release on Orphans Publishing.

Telling the story of the Fab Four through a series of bespoke infographics, illustrations and data visualisations, the book will examine the 13 core releases in a way that's never been done before - analysing the data left behind by the greatest band the world has ever seen.
